The idea for corporate leadership programs based on famous role models was inspired by the book, The Classic Touch, Lessons in Leadership from Homer to Hemingway, and its author, John Clemens, a businessman and professor at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.
Extending the concept to include site visits and historic reenactors, Tigrett Corp. has evolved a format that continues to excite participants. The focus today is on the corporate executive, whose work environment demands the most dedicated leadership, but offers little time for contemplation or extended study.
The company is committed to providing high quality executive education, and in order to maintain these standards, Tigrett Corp. will:
- Place quality of client service ahead of growth
- Be responsive to the leadership development needs of clients
- Keep informed about, and use current materials and techniques, to maintain the highest level of service quality
- Facilitate extensive, focused discussions in order to draw upon the considerable experience of participants
- Utilize significant historic sites to enhance participant involvement
- Focus on application of the lessons learned over theory
- Accept only the most qualified associates to assist in the delivery of all programs, and monitor their performance
