Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled a list of questions regarding our new individual training classes. If you need any information, please contact us.

REGISTRATION FEES, DISCOUNTS

Is there a discount for signing up more than one person at a time?

Yes. Please call Historic Leadership Training (717-334-9089) to discuss your training needs, number of attendees, and fees for groups.

If I have to miss part of the program, may I subtract that portion from the total?

No, the fee is set to include all portions of the program. You will get the most out of the program if you attend all sessions.

If I already own a Kindle, may I use my own and get a discount in the price of the program?

No, the Kindle is part of the program price and will have materials downloaded onto it that are necessary for the program. vWhat is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations, submitted up to 30 days prior to the event, receive an 85% refund of the fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations submitted within 30 days of the event.

May I bring my spouse, and if so, what will be the cost?

The fee covers all parts of the program including the training, hotel, and meals associated with the program; any additional guests will also need to purchase a registration to attend any sessions.

Are substitutions allowed if I cannot attend at the last minute?

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

What is the hotel address, and what is the phone number?

Gettysburg Hotel, One Lincoln Square, Gettysburg, PA 17325, and the telephone is 717-337-2000.

Do I have to make my own hotel arrangements?

No, we will take care of making those arrangements for you.

May I stay at a hotel other than the one specified in the literature?

No, we choose to keep the program attendees together at the same hotel where the meeting sessions will take place. A 2-night stay at the Gettysburg Hotel is included in the program fee.

Are there handicapped facilities available?

Yes, please contact us if you have any special needs.

PROGRAM

What is the program attire?

The program attire is casual. You may want to bring a sweater for the meeting room and sneakers or comfy shoes for the battlefield tour.

Do I have to do a lot of walking on the battlefield tour?

There will be bus transportation and some walking on the tour. There is also an option to walk Pickett’s Charge at the end of the tour (distance about 1 mile - with several stops for discussion).

FOOD SERVICES

What meals are included?

There will be a cocktail reception, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner included in the program. Please see the program schedule for more details.

What if I have special dietary restrictions (i.e. vegetarian, low sodium, sugar-free, kosher)?

Please contact us if you have any dietary restrictions we should be aware of.
