Our most popular program, Lessons from Lincoln, is most often conducted with groups of 10-25 executives in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, or Springfield, Illinois.

In addition to classroom discussion devoted to management issues, the workshop includes guided tours of historic sites, meals at historic taverns, and a surprise visit by a Lincoln reenactor.

Usually run as a 3-day program, the workshop can focus on a variety of management issues, depending on the client’s needs. The program is modular, with sections of the case focusing on setting and articulating goals, the importance of continuous and consistent communications, building commitment from all levels of staff, managing change, and dealing with difficult people.

This strategic-level program is best suited to executive level or senior managers of your organization.

    What others are saying...

"A great course! Never would have expected a class about Abe Lincoln to be used for teaching me about leadership, but it works very well, even for today’s world."

"Home run! Instead of simply providing the student with dry lists of leadership principles and characteristics, the course provides vibrant examples of the principles and characteristics in action. Leadership by story telling is effective both as a learning tool and as a guide to motivating better performance."
